Area

Today we explored Area...in our classroom.  Some friends were confused between area and perimeter.  Here is a cute video to help our understanding of these two concepts:

We thought of things we could measure in the classroom...no one found the area of the carpet though!  We used non-standard units of measurement like sticky notes and coloured tiles.  Take a look at what we discovered!
