We have been researching animals and looking at non-fiction text features.  Here are some features in a book I bought about African Animals.

Tomorrow, the Earth Rangers will be visiting our school and we are so excited to see what animals will be visiting St. Cecilia.  We watched a very funny video made by the Earth Rangers...check it out!

Open House and Non-Fiction

We had a lot of parents checking out our Earth Day pledges and our "Best Part of Me".  Thank you to everyone for dropping in to see all the things we have been up to in Grade 2.  I will be posting our photostory of "The Best Part of Me" next week. Today, we compared fiction and non-fiction books using Padlet.  We know a lot about them already but still need to look at non-fiction more closely! Ava D. made a ChatterPix for Jump Rope for Heart which will be coming up soon!
